For those who don't know, we are able to skype our families on both Christmas and Mother's Day...and it is awesome! This was the last time I skyped them before I am heading home, and before they come to Nauvoo in July..... Ah!

This week has been filled with Teaching Center Miracles, as usual, and I met a woman named Melissa! She has had a rough past, but is turning her life around and now meeting with the missionaries in her area! So exciting!

Well, here are some thoughts I've had these past days:

-What can a love for yourself do that a love for God can't?

-You will not improve yourself by trying to improve yourself.

Also, I love these two quotes:

-"The attitude of faith is to let go and become open to truth, whatever it may turn out to be." -Alan Watts

-"Don't let perfect get in the way of good."

The last one, especially, has really struck me. We let our expectations of 'perfect' disable us from giving out 'good'. We want to do give a 'perfect' service, but fall short and instead give no service at all. We let our discouragement at our lack of perfection get in the way of giving out something that is still, indeed, good. It is important to give the good that we are able to give, no matter how limited.

I love you all, and I invite you all you to lose yourselves. Service is the true cleanser. Obedience does not cleanse us, but it enables us to serve...which in turn cleanses us. We HAVE to turn outward. We have to step out of the bliss that is ignorance. When we chose to come down to earth, we chose to have our hearts broken. Let them break...over and over, again and again. And then, help those who's hearts are breaking as well. We are all one.
